1.8T w/ 5spd. Kinda dull after my VR Jetta.
Nice! I was tossing around the idea of getting a S6 Avant, but decided to go with the Forester XT, no regrets! Some day I'll pick up an Audi. The first car I ever drove was my grandma's Audi, she would let me drive it down the gravel road to their house when I was about 13, good times!
I still remember when I learned to drive, I was about 10 at the time. No instruction at all, a friend out on the farm in Windfall, Indiana just threw me the keys to his 1966 International 1200 series pickup and said here you go take a few laps around the corn field and be easy on the clutch. (which I could barely reach and barely have enough leg to push) Then bouncing all over the cab through the cornfield trying to stand on the clutch and still see over the dash.
Ah good times in small town USA.
Ones I built. Some a little and like the 32 from parts in my garage to a finished car in 3 months.
And the one I'm playing with now.
Cool stuff! I am excited to be back into the cars again!

'68 Caddys are awesome! Be careful not to let that 472 suck any any little "tuner" cars in through the grill.
My 2003 Mercury Marauder. #950 of 7093. Rear calipers are now painted red as well and I added SS "Marauder" letters to the recessed letters in the rear bumper cover.
Picked up this 1965 Vw that was parked back in 1990 it has 61k original miles ,bought the car from the original owners son , all original paint with great patina , it has a 6 1/2" narrowed front end with drop spindles and 3" dropped spring plates and is lowered a lot , has radar wheels , original 40 hp motor still 6 volt , the whole underside of the car has been detailed !
Day she came home all stock hadn't been started since 1990
In her present state !!
This may be stupid or just obvious, but how is the "wear" on the rear tires? Need to rotate a lot?
This much camber not the best tire life !! My other bug I'm building i raised the transmission up 2" and it's this low and has very little camber !
My new ride, the "Vanilla Pimp". 1987 Buick Electra Park Avenue.
It was missing one Park Avenue emblem, so I added something different.
It's nose with my sons Ranger (Formerly mine)
After removing the beat up hubcaps, cleaning up the white walls, and sanding and painting the factory steelies. (That was allot of work) Also good shot of the clam shell hood.
I'm really liking this thing, pillow top seats, theater lighting, and all kinds of comfy!
