I just looked at fatflip's post on his chrome Next refurb and thought a chrome frame thread would be cool, see if there are any out there?

I took the rust off the "Mongoose" frame like a mad scientist, viewtopic.php?f=3&t=460&start=15#p559185

Fun!!

Cool thread idea.

My Flex-Liner 7 is still a work in progress as as part of RRB BO7, but here is my 1960s Spaceliner which I have added a 1040s beehive fork and my own interpretation of a 1939 Huffman TwinFlex rear suspension.

I am a sucker for a chrome bike, here are a couple of mine
My 1983 Ross Mt. Whitney Mountain Bike turned into a single speed.

My brother-in-law has a chrome Ross, wow! I forgot! I've got one too!! Gotta post that.

Salvaged Next from a modern barn of modern Chinese junk. This one has been a lot of fun. It was solid blue but peeling. After a good steam bath it turned out to be all chrome. I have a new Trek hybrid that I exercise with about 5 miles a day but this one goes to the store a few times a week and to the disc golf course. Mick

I had a Flightliner and loved it but I'm still hoping for a Spaceliner one day. I also plan to post a pic of my chrome BMX soon enough.

forrestsmith - Great looking ride. Tell us a little bit about it. Did you commission those lights? Great pics too.

MplsCoaster - Love your bikes. What wheels do you have on yours? They look awesome.

Mick

My all time favorite is a chrome bike, here's my 2012 OM Flyer Retro edition built from a frame and fork. It actually has Redline Flight cranks on it now with skinwall comp III tires.
