I have been unable to find info on this model. The head badge says Schwinn Royal. Is 'Royal' the model name, or just some part of an old Schwinn logo?
I can tell it's Skip-tooth (pre 1952?) with built-in kickstand (Post 1947?) and bottom bracket is stamped '344609'
I would like to know the model name, year, paint colors and options. This one is solid, but pretty far-gone appearance wise, so it might be a candidate for a restoration.

Thanks for any info,
Greg

Royal was one of many badges Schwinn made for hardware stores and distributors that wanted their own headbadge. I have a Royal badge but different than yours.

Your bike is a post war DX. Here is a pic of one with a tank, rack, and light. This one looks 100% original to me except for the light. It should have a Delta torpedo instead of the Seiss. That "light" looks like a siren now that I look at it. Gary
