2016 Schwinn Blackwell

Changed-out the freewheel for a Shimano SuperLow 14-34t because of our hills here; the twist shifter for a Shimano Rapid-Fire shifter; the kickstand and handgrips for Salsa bolt-ons, then added LED Teardrop head lights and tail lights. The 26X3 tires and factory saddle make for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Hi Dave, it was an impulse buy at a "big box" store and cost just over $200-.

Some upgrades include a Shimano EM bar end friction shifter mounted onto the lower top bar and painting the headlamp housings flat black but leaving the bezels chromed:
