I've seen a lot of Royce Union road bikes, ten speeds and mountain bikes, but not a cruiser with a tank. Appreciate
any info you guys have on this bike.

They made a number of middleweight cruisers in the late 50s and 60s. Like mine:

Stelber also imported many similar bikes and had their own badge. I've also seen Fleet Wings, Presidents, Black Knights, and other badges, they all seem to come from the same factory. They may have been made by the Daimler Puch Steyr collective, who built 3 speed touring bikes as well as a couple cruisers for Sears. The Royce Union badge relates to Union Cycle, who make pedals, including Schwinn bow pedals. Don't know if they made anything larger than small parts like a whole bike, may have farmed it out to D/P/S. -Adam

Thanks for the info Rustinkerer. Any idea what crank fits this small bottom bracket housing?

I think it's the same size as other European imports like Raliegh etc. 3 piece cottered set. -Adam
