Saw this on FB Marketplace a couple days ago. Thought it was a Sears Flightliner or another Murray version of the Flightliner. Thought it would be a good sidekick for my Spaceliner. Closer inspection of the FB ad revealed it to be a Ross. For $40 I figured why not. With the reflector pedals and the sticker on the seat tube, I'm thinking it's a newer bike than the Spaceliner.
Wish I could find more info on Ross bikes. Seems like most of what I can find is on their muscle bikes and higher end stuff from the '80's.

I think Ross bikes had a serial number that began with an "R" and then a digit or two for the year. They were made by Bike Chain Corp, with Ross the main line of bikes, others badged as store brands.
Coast to Coast was a hardware store that sold a lot of them in the 60's, the Coast King Riviera was a deluxe model.

Looks like the chain guard on yours may say "Deluxe" under the red paint. This is a girl's version Starliner model:

Cool. Thanks Wildcat! Gonna look for the serial number when I get home from work today.

If those are the original wheels, and they match so probably so, looks like a Bendix 70 rear hub, so 1972 would be about right. Is there a BMA 6 decal on the top portion of the seat tube? They were on American bikes 1971 and later.

Maybe a 1967, this from the 67 catalog shows the same chain guard.

I saw a '58 on the interwebs that looked just like this bike, except it had a tank with headlights.
