I’ve never messed with a set up like this, so I want to tread lightly. I see threads on the front, so I’m assuming it screws off. What I’m worried about, much like trying to break a freewheel loose, the power comes from turning the wheel. Since the wheel isn’t there any longer, what can I do without hurting the hub?

I laced the outside flange as pictured. Unfortunately, it’s a pressed hub, so I only managed to turn the top flange. I tried relacibg the bottom flange, but my first attempt failed because I can’t curve a spoke enough to get around the disc. Frustrating.

Bummer! That's how I would have tried. Now I fear the flange holes may not align quite properly. As a Plan B, you might try creating a wooden clamping block, with an opening roughly equal to the flange's diameter. That would let you grip the hub shell on all sides while you work to get the disc off.

You might be able to fashion a home brew tool like this with two pegs to straddle holes at the center of the disc. You really don't want to disturb the braking surface, if you can avoid it.
