Has anyone ever serviced these. Do they have ball bearings?
I once worked on Raleigh road bike with pedals that did not have ball bearings. Just grease.

I have different Raleigh pedals with caps like those at the outside end of the spindle. They unscrew to get to the ball bearings.

Got a pair pretty cheap to see for myself. I like the style and they're 9/16''.

As I suspected there are no ball bearings.
Simply pulled the cap and removed 2 retainer clips with a mini screwdriver... that's it.

Guess they'll just be for show now.
