Post Apocolypse Bike

I put this together for our groups Post Apocalyptic Pub Pedal (aka Mad Max Night).

Great job on the mad max bike . As looked at the pictures I thought mad max , then I read your caption , dead on . One of my all time favorite moves as a kid over do to see it again is been many years . I need to go see the new one .

Yeah a nod to the 2nd, Road Warrior movie. I think that was the one.

Here I am with the bike. What you probably can't tell is my helmet is an old Skid Lid bike helmet.

 

Kool bike. For me, a post apocolypse bike should sport at least 1 can of Spam.

 

I LOLed at the Alpo can.

 

You mean Smeat! There are a couple post apocalyptic movies that have Smeat. Waterworld and Walking dead and a few other things.

I think you need to rig up a pipe/bat holder in the event on of the other riders in your group acts up while your riding.

 

I did make a sling shot from a small 16" fork, innertubes and a handlebar grip but didn't want to lug it around.

 

The wife and I just finished watching the Mad Max series
This bike definitely looks the part..good job

 

Definitely a cool ride,been thinking of doing a post apocalyptic bike myself. Lots of cool ideas.
