I GOT THIS AT A YARD SALE TODAY THE GUY TOLD ME HE JUST DUG IT OUT OF A BARN I PAID 35 BUCKS FOR IT, IM SURE I OVER PAID BUT I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT AND IM NOT SURE WHY LOL

I KNOW THAT ITS MISSING THE TANK,HEAD BADGE AND THE RED PAINT IS NOT ORIGINAL AS I CAN SEE WHITE UNDER IT. I THOUGHT MAYBE A Monark El Camino ? PLEASE HELP TYIA

Its a Murray built bike. Could be sears or higgins. Post the serial number. I've seen rangers before I forget which company made them. Its a 60's bike

You didn't overpay, I see plenty of good parts there if nothing else! Ranger was a Mead model originally, I'm not sure if they were still around by the 60s. That rear rack is aftermarket, though the chrome rails on the outside of it once held the original! That finned chainguard is seen more 62-up ish. -Adam
