Sorry if I have this in the wrong section, was not sure where to put this thread. :)
I wanted to buy another bike and have found 3 bicycles on my local CL that I might be interested in. All the ads are vague so I was wondering if I could get some peoples opinions on which bike to go for (if any at all).
Here they are:
The Raleigh: http://spokane.craigslist.org/bid/3078462460.html
The Schwinn Suburban: http://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3049238898.html
The Firestone: http://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/3040086885.html

I just want to make sure I do not get totally ripped off. lol
Thanks in advance!

Not really comparing apples to apples there. You've got a 1, 3 and 10 speed. A lot of it depends on what you plan to do with it. Assuming it's in decent shape and working order, I'd go for the Raleigh with the internal 3 speed. If you just want simplicity and ease of maintenance then go for the Firestone but I'm thinking some gears might be useful.

The Bratz bike is a $10 to $20 bike, but the blue one is a rail frame and should be worth $30 to $35 as is.
Rails are longer and a lot more comfy to ride. Dos
Which is the Bratz bike and which is the other one? I have to admit I know nothing about these types of bikes, I was thinking if I got both of them I would take them apart and combine them.
Are they both vintage bikes?

Thanks for all the help. :)

The blue w/roached seat is the rail and purple one w/stars is Bratz. The rail is 1967- 1972 I think, the Bratz is ( help me guys) 2000 ? or something like that. Sure combine away can't anything.

I am not sure on the tire size based on just the picture. I assume they are 20"-24". Is there a way I could fit 26" rims on these bikes?

These are both 20" bikes, 26" wheels will not fit unless you cut and weld. The parts from one will fit the other.

So there is a guy selling a bunch of old bikes where I live and here is two I am interested in. He says one is a Galaxy Flyer and the other is a Schwinn Typhoon. He wants $30 each.

Opinion? :)

I'd Do it, you can always flip one and make your money back and ride the other.

I am pretty sure I am going to buy both bikes. Plus I have a spare front fender for that Typhoon. :)
Now I just have to figure out where to fit two more bicycles (which will make seven bikes total) in my 1 bedroom apartment. lol

...Now that I can get something else, how about this one?

He says it is a prefire Schwinn. Missing some parts but looks like a cool project bike. :)

I'd buy that if it were in my localities CL. What is your skill level? Can you put it back together?

I am a beginner I guess. lol
It just needs tires/rims, a seat, handlegrips, and headbadge. Right? :)
