I don't know anything about these monoshock bikes. My guess is likely European because of the cottered cranks. Could also be a Japanese make but I don't know if the Japanese monoshock bikes used cottered cranks or not.

Might try searching for vintage monoshock bicycles, Yamaha monoshock bicycles, Kawasaki monoshock bicycles........................

Those plates were rubber at one point. Now just good ol' crustiness!

I would also guess something Japanese or European with the cottered cranks.

Looks like someone tried to repair the damaged seat tube with a seat clamp.
