    not if you weld a bolt on underneath , like a stud . then you wouldn't see the head 8)

    I thought of this too, but I didn't mention it because I couldn't think of any kickstands that would bolt onto a stud that way.

    iv had good turn outs when looking for bolts and what not at ace hard ware.... its worth a shot if you have one in your area.

    Sweet! Going to be a tight fit with that short steerer. You going to trim the headtube, or extend/replace the steerer?

    Why don't they redo these old tanks?!? They could make tons of money. If anyone has one of thos tanks that you have on ya bike please pm me. Ya bike is killer!! Those forks are sweet. I don't have to tell ya to GTB !! Peace

    that frame and fork combo looks like you can you ride off with Sara Connor and save the day.. nice touch big.. 8)

    Looks great so far. Why not weld the stud into the hole you drilled then grind the weld flush with the surface then you have the stealth look your going for.

    I came so close to buying one of those Lawill forks back in 93 but opted for a Rockshock instead, wrong decision...
