Yep- still trying to get the brakes right on this bad boy. Bought a super smooth pair of GT race hubs for beans, and it went on from there. Pretty soon, I joined the SE Army!!!
Tapered fork, interchangeable axle sizes make this true race bike. I may race to the next bar or pub LOL

I like yours!
My Scott Enterprises went the opposite way! Scott had just passed, it was listed on craigslist for too much, I bought it anyway! Pretty much paid new prices for a frame and fork...
Anyway I replaced everything, literally have street slicks coming today.
$500 deep in this, should have bought a new one!

You have one of the originals. Mine is one of the Asian built ones, but I have visited that factory and they do HIGH quality work.

Very nice PK!

I have SEs in many flavors and sizes...here is my 2017 looptail Floval Flyer...

@mikeeebikey , if you are only $500 in, you couldn't have gotten anything new for that (maybe a base SoCal Flyer), and you would have zero problem getting your money back, and then some...especially this last year.

My 20" PK (gold)...has a long ways to go before it is anywhere near yours (don't let the mini wheels fool you, it is a PRO model, just wanted it to roll)...haven't dated it exactly, best guess early to mid 90s...

@mikeeebikey , Rusty’s right! My frame and fork was $400. And these have gotten HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Nice whips, Rusty!!!!

Sweet ride. SE is doing some of the coolest rides around at the moment. I would love one of the current big rippers but will have to let one of my bikes go first.

I was drooling over a Big Ripper in the dealership. I was about to go into debt for that!!!!
