I'm a Clevelander who ended up in Indy, and I just love bikes. And antique stuff. And, therefor, old bikes in particular. I have a wife and four daughters who all have bikes, and I help out the neighborhood kids with fixes on their bikes, so I'm around bikes all the time. Bicycles, as a form of minimalist transportation, have always fascinated me.
But due to an accident a while back, I'm just not up to pedaling very far at all. So my own ride has a motor. As you'll see in the pic, I couldn't leave it at *just* adding a motor. Her name is "Tempus" and she's my post-war JC Higgins. I haven't yet installed a speedo on her yet so, wouldn't you know it, I can't answer any questions about her top speed. But she *might* be faster than you think. :)

Nicely done. Have you thought about making the cylinder black?
When I was first putting her together I did. But I kind of like the way it looks now.
