Montgomery Wards muscle bike?

I picked this up yesterday. It has a sticker on the headtube that says montgomery wards. But I cant find any other markings on it.
The rear drop out has a Stamp of an S with a circle around it.
When i first saw the bike I noticed the hawthorne Sprocket.
Any ideas?

The S is for Synder I believe, the company that made the frame.

That's a Rollfast sprocket.

Snyder's "house brand" was Rollfast, though they didn't own the name. Their second biggest client was Ward's. -Adam

I just wish there was a name or logo on the chainguard

Im not too sure but that bike is great looking. i love off brand muscle bikes!
