Was told this was a ‘46. Has been spray painted and has a ‘custom’ painted headbadge. The rear fender brace has been cut out, please see pics.

    $60 plus shippin.
Local pick up in Ventura Ca is also welcome, or I can deliver to the Long Beach swap on the 24th.

What makes you think it isn't a '46, Dizzle? A '52 would have the serial on the rear dropout.

You are correct! I made the post in a hurry, and used the great for quick reference, but not always accurate serial number look up tool.

...I don't know exactly what the '46-'48 serials are...but, I think if it isn't '46, its at least '46 adjacent

For sure. Thanks man. '52 would have been the start of the rear drop stamp. i edited out the '52 comment on the original post.

I bought this frame with the intention of having a loop tail rear triangle that would fit a 29" wheel put on. But decided there's just too many projects inline!

I’m only about 40 minutes from Santa Barbara cruisers. I’ve seen a few they’ve done it too and it come out lookin awesome!
Two years ago at the king of the cruisers show they do there, I saw a 50’s Schwinn straight bar they did with a looptail rear. Of all the insane bikes there, it really stood out to me. Like a combination of my two favorite worlds of bikes.
