Orange Enigma, now finished.

Okay, after much thinking I finally decided to give Dimples a makeover.

Nothing too fancy, just gonna get a bigger rear (20" x 3") and smaller front (16" x ?) I haven't picked the front yet. It currently has these 2 knobby 20" x 2.125" which will have to go. I will expect it to be lighter with a small and skinny front mounted on 26" forks. Also gonna replace the saddle and give it a more eye-popping paint job which will still be in orange. As for fenders, sissy bar and a chain guard, I haven't decided yet. we'll see ;-)

I will try to slap this on the rims later, I also hope the frame will allow it

Spring compression tool from Harbor Freight. It's what I use to widen frames.

Yes, it fits!... with a little help of a couple of washers, hehehe. It's about 2 credit cards clearance on both sides, however I might still do a little frame widening later on. Took her for a spin around the neighborhood, rides well

Thanks! It's a Kanamaya 1.4 x 16, pretty common in the Philippines and used for our pedicabs, one of our cheaper modes of transportation. I don't know if it's available anywhere else though.

Beefy tire! I sure hope it'll fit on a 1.75 rim, but I wouldn't give it much chance, but I'll try.

Yeah, they're pretty fun to ride. They are usually copies of twin tube bmx frames.

Ok, here's so updates on the build. I've been sidetracked by a makeover on one of my other bikes so progress is very little. I had my 16" front laced and setup and installed the fork.

Since it looks plain form my taste I wanted a little somethin' somethin' added to it...so, front fender! Still haven't decide which to use though.

...and since my available braces are for 20"s I needed to make a adapter to hold it in place.

A little cutting and some drilling later, I now have the fender mounted!

This is how she currently sits. Still haven't decided on the color of the fender, bars and sissy bar.
