I got into (old) bikes November of '06. Started coming here a few months later. Here is a photo of my junk heap that first winter.

I can't say enough about RRB, haven't been here long and I'm still green but not as glossy. Don't know much about the old bikes but I do know what I like. Here at RRB you can ask for help and someone will respond. I have created bikes from junk for 3 years and if I can put my $0.02 in and one person says thanks, then I'm active.
