Nice curved tubes!

Yeah it's time for a classic Rat build... As I haven't done one yet!
I'm also searching thru my backlog of ideas for a theme... :headbang:

Goodluck Carl, nice starting bike...Love them curves... Reminds me of my 39'Wards/Hawthorne...

First thing on the agenda is to straighten / repair the frame.
Way back whenever...
Someone rebrazed the joint behind the seat post crooked.
So it's into my homemade frame jig and cut and patch.
< This cat hasn't brazed in over 35 yrs....o_O
How hard can it be? I did it as a sophomore in HS.

To put that into perspective, I was not born when you last brazed... :13:

Luke.

Good luck with the brazing.
Cool to see yet another prewar.

I just realised, you were going to do a rodeo tandem, I take it you changed you mind on that front?

Luke.
Yep. I'm still building the Tandem Bucker, and it will go into the Builds section... but for BONINE I figured I need to do a classic Rat, since I have one...

Still going thru names / themes, I thought maybe "Brazen Rod"
but after listening to some Klaatu,
I'm leaning towards "Little Neutrino", an Atom Punk build...

Obligatory garage door shot... rims and crank are just place keepers, not staying...

yeah it's tweaked...

Carl.

I am researching the brazing process now. I have not been researching bicycles long enough to be burnt out on the look of a steel and brass frame. Go man, Go!

I like where this is headed!!!
