Yeah, but you could probably squeeze 1.75" without the fenders.
Heres mine.....Specialized Enduro Expert with street tires
On the trails at home in Pittsburgh.
In NYC at the 5 boros bike tour last year(can't wait for this year)
Been cruisin my simple 3 for over two years now. A few upgrades since then:
Dyno Duece rear 24" rim with Fireball Slick
Shimano Alfine 4spd hub
Hussefelt Truvative stem
Custom powdercoated Z Bars
Gotta have the Wald Twin Rear baskets
This is my daily ride I commute on every day, then in the summer it's between this or my cannondale prophet 5 lefty.
This Vista of mine got the most miles last summer. My Fastback will probably see the most pavement this summer. Yeah I ride this low and I am 6'2". Haha
This is the bike I put the most miles on, I ride it to the store, to work and for fitness.
1966 Malvern Star 2 Star. Powdercoated, Shimano cranks and sealed BB, Mavic Open Pro rims laced to Sachs Torpedo coaster and Sachs front hub, Cut down Soma Noah's Arc bars and Brooks B17. Very nice bike to ride and gets more looks, comments and questions than the big dollar carbon roadies parked at the coffee shop on a Sunday morning.
Just picked this one up...will be the daily driver for now
i had to repaint it
I want one!!
This is what I ride the most...an '09 Failure Amuerte.
If I look kinda old in those pics it's because I am...I'll be 50 this year.
Go For It, Dude!
I have one of them.. great bikes... rides really nice... its my sunday in the park ride
Here's my Specialized Crossroads I've had about 10 years already. I use it for errands and rides around town. Last few years it's become a "thing" to ride it to the ball diamonds where some coworkers play softball Tuesday nights! I got the Cat Eye headlight last year after the Bell light died. The seat is a Bontrager and has an LED taillight as well as a taillight on the rear of the carrying rack.
Looks GREAT in black!
I wanna see the lowered Mazda in the background...
And here's mine. Cheapie 50 dorrah Huffy Cranbrook, yanked the fenders and chain guard, installed a chrome chain, swapped out the seat, and finally added the obligatory "big boy road soda" holder.
I try to ride these three pretty equally, but do the most riding on the track bike.
2010 Specialized Langster steel with custom wheels that I built up with All City Standard track hubs, Velocity b43 rims, and DT Swiss Competition spokes. 3t stem, origin8 bullhhorns, fancy gold KMC chain. Still has teh stock Sugino Messenger crank and chainring. I will be putting in the Dura Ace headset today and building a set of Dura Ace track hubs up to some 88MM carbon rims, then upgrading to a Dura Ace track crank and bb, and replacing all of the support groupo with Nitto counterparts.
this is the only recent picture I have, and it is partially blocked by my fiancée's 2010 Jamis Sputnik.
preview of the new wheelset, this front wheel belongs to my boss, I will be using the same rims but with different hubs.
1992 Cannondale R600 frame built up with Sram Apex derailleurs, Sram Rival crank, Sram TT500 shifters, Tektro brakes, Mavic CXP22 wheels, Origin8 bullhorns and stem, Jamis aero carbon seatpost, and a titanium railed, perforated leather Selle Italia Flite saddle. This is my road bike with fixed gear streetfighter flare.
1980's Kabuki by Bridgestone. Set up for fun and good looks.
When I am not riding, I am whippin my 1987 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon. Slightly played around with
Updates to my 2 "daily drivers".
Addition of a basket...
Different headlight and water bottle cage...
This is the bomber I typically jump on to ride to work...CRAZY light!
My daily rider right now, well, not daily, but I get on it as often as I can, 2000 GT Pro Series 24
Hopefully in the next couple months this will be getting regular use,
'81 Schwinn Scrambler, build date the same month I was born, needs a good tear down and tune up
24/20 Buzz Bike, hopefully the build is done on it by the end of the month
