Re: Lets see your Columbia's! (fixed photos :D)

Here is my 1968 Columbia Longboy 5 Speed. Never seen a 5 speed in green. Only 5's I have seen have been in copper..so I'm wondering if this is a single speed frame..with 5 speed parts? I dunno...but no matter what, I LOVE this bike. I'm taking this one to the grave with me!

And here is what I THINK to be a Columbia Playbike from 1968. This one is the runt of the bunch. This thing is far from stock, but it's so fun to ride. With it's short wheel base, you sit up fairly straight, and it turns on a dime. A VERY good handling bike. This bike started my love for muscle bikes. It has no headbadge. I helped a buddy of mine out for a few hours...and this is how he paid me. I said...OK. That's whats up...

1940 Columbia Superb. 26" bike with 24" wheels and 24"x3" thick bricks. Just tossed it together to check fitment on things, need to tear it back down and go through it. I think I'm going to leave the paint alone, maybe redo the tank since someone else already did. Seat still to come.

Originally got this from ratina. He has a pic in an earlier post of it when he had it. 20" I built from my grandson. Ratina's build was so cool lookin, I kind stuck with a similar build. Thanks rat for the frame & the ideas! :D He loves it by the way! 8)

1983 Columbia Clipper 1speed cruiser. My 2nd cruiser ever and I still have it at my other house.

(when it was built up as my Klunker 3speed cruiser. this bike probably rebuilt 10 different ways/times)

My other Columbia is actually a 64' Merideth girl's cruiser single speed, sadly at my other house out of town and no pictures yet.

I never have done anything with this Columbia Roadster. I love the color though.

Here's what I'm starting with. I know it's a Columbia and that's about it. Anyone know what model or time frame this might be?

Here's my Columbia RX-5 repop. These are some of the better repops because they were made using the original dyes that created the 50s version.
I changed the headlight to the correct one, and plan on adding a Bendix 2-speed kickback very soon.
