I see a lot of disk brakes this year... :shock: Technology has officially past me and my dual coaster brake setup.

The Large Marge is already set up for disk brake. so I'm just going with it. :wink:

Another dose of frame envy. I may need therapy after this competition is over.

Anxious to see what you come up with. You've got a unique but unpredictable style. Knowing you'll be factoring in ride-ability also is a big plus in my book.

I didn't really want to use these Fat Franks, They are for another build, plus I want all black tires for this build.

Glad I didn't buy the 2.5"Hook Worms form a friend at work :roll:

Tomorrow I will try a regular 26x2.25 tire see how much room I have.

The Fat Frank does look huge :mrgreen:

I can do what BigJon said a use the back of the drop out.

i think your wheel alone in your frame has less clearance than my wheel and tire together do in my frame :shock: Waiting to see you pull this off even if you do have to swap tires I got faith in ya Skip !!!

Oh Baby! The Fat Franks are tight. They look pretty good but I know what you're saying about having a idea (black tires) and wanting that to happen. 2.25s seem like a good step.

Have a few $4 kenda Flames lying around :roll:

26 x 2.125 and it FITS!

The flame tire actually looks better then I thought it would.

Not crazy about the flame tread look, but the price is right and I think the black will work for my build.

I can paint or sand off the logo.

The tire looks big on the rim but not anywhere near has huge as the Fat Frank :roll:

Need to really get to working on this thing :wink:

Hey Skip thats looks like it is heading in a cool direction. What is the front tire /rim going to be? keeping the gears ?

Yeah Kenda used to have a closeout deal on there web site. bought 5 or 6 set's .... They don't seem to do that anymore

I Don't don't have a front wheel yet :roll: .... It will just be a standard 26" with disk brake hub.... keep a look out in the suburban dumpsters
for me. :wink: :wink:

It's 2.5" tube... the tire seems to be more round the the usual, I think it looks pretty good.
