Doing a resto-mod on This schwinn.

Far as I can tell it's about a 1988, Japanese built cantilever cruiser. Anyone know which kick stand this frame takes?

Thanks! That was taken at Kiptopeke state park on the eastern shore of Virginia.

The fenders and the forks are brand new reproductions.
This is how the bike came to me.

Guess i should be a little more specific. . This takes an intigrated kickstand..

I'd give odds that even china made Schwinn's are universal from 60's up. It's such a simple, heavy duty and compact design there's hardly a way to make it better. I have 1995 and 2002 china cheapie cruiser Schwinn's and it looks identical to my older bikes.

Alright. . So maybe a #382 for example?
Does anyone produce a reproduction replacement of these built in kick stands or am i relegated to scouring ebay for NOS?

I don't know if they were different on the overseas bikes, but if they are, you'll probably need the exact year to get the right one.
On the head badge near the bottom should be a 4 digit number, showing the Julian date and last digit of the year. Example: 2338 would be built on the 233rd day of 1988, or 78, or 98.

Yup.. this one goes back to my thread in the bike ID and evaluations forum.. the head badge gives me 0448.. so February 13th.. 8
The original forks are typical of the 80's.
One serial number only.. under the bottom bracket..

Ive settled on the bike being a 1988 "cantilever cruiser "
