Been rebuilding this for the past six months, got the last spokes adjusted and tires put on yesterday, rode it around the neighborhood for a while. Heavy as heck, but smooth. Used to belong to my grandpa. Just have to paint the fenders chain guard and rack, install the truss rods, and it's all good!

Right on mike. How cool is it that you resurrected not just an old bike but one that belonged to your grandfather.

Thanks! I'm thinking I need to add some color to the rack, it seems like maybe too much white all in the same place.

Well, she wasn't finished. I rode her all summer, but was never entirely happy with the colors. So over the last couple months, I repainted her, mounted an old soda crate on the rack, and am pretty happy with the result. I may have gone a touch overboard with the stripes. Still pretty happy with it.
