I was thinking that, but it is for a single top tube and he said that the left arm was connected as a rear brake.

Got a project fork coming my way. It's a bent up version of the same Hawthorne Snyder springer that I used on Flexy in BO7. It's gonna take some work to make this one usable again.

Used the main fork legs for a king queen seat support on Poke Choppa

Picked up this cool shifter at the bike show and the training wheel springs at a yard sale.
I figure the springs may be good for a springer fork or saddle or something someday.

I have those exact spring training wheels I bought for my daughters bike I like you're idea of making a springer form them I might have to copycat that idea

I kinda dig the styling of this it's kooky but it has cool lines and a 24/20 would be a good combo for a custom build any idea where they are coming from? and how much they go for I would not mind getting one in my stabe.

I hope you try it first and that way I can copy yours. :p

The ten speed shifters, dual stick, did come in a single top tube version, I have two. I've only ever seen one of the 5 speed with drag brake versions, missed it on the bay 5-6 months back.
Wonder how the brake version differs internaly from a 10 speed one.

Do you have a photo of the single top tube version? Both sides of mine are identical friction based arms (no clicks). I am sure that mine could be used with a ten speed or drag brake.

Yes, you could use that as a drag brake on one side, since they are both friction shifters. Not a bad idea at all there!

I have cases for those, if you are interested in a case for the one with the white knobs.

Can you post a pic of what one looks like?

Thanks to a quick heads up from a friend I have this partial head tube shroud coming my way for my Elgin Twin "VerBoten" build. It needs some coaxing, but this is gonna be fun!

USED on VerBoten
