just bought it today and all i know is it says jc higgins on the chain gaurd lol

just curious of the year/model/type im not sure if the bike is worth much or worth restoring...i only gave $20 for it

started takin it apart some and the rear hub says RENAK and the handle bars say SCHWINN

for now, i think Im going to keep the handle bars. i dont have any others to put on it right now

4517 is the catalog # for a 1951-53 Color Flow model, also called "Regal DeLuxe"! It would've had a tank, springer fork, skirt guards, and rear rack originally! How the mighty have been humbled! -Adam
