1. I wanted to give everybody a heads up on a change that I'm going to make for folks who want to use the For Sale section of the forum.

The forum has been running strong for almost 11 years now and I (along with our awesome moderators) have tried to keep things running smooth and trouble free during that time. I'm thankful for everyone who has helped make this a great community to participate in.

As you can imagine, there are some expenses that are involved in maintaining a site like this and I've tried my best to keep from passing that expense onto the user over the years. The forum will always be a free resource for people to communicate, learn and share.

In order to offset some of the expenses that the site creates, I'm going to be changing the Gold Membership upgrade on the forum. Starting on April 1, 2017 the current "Gold Member" upgrade will be renamed "Pro Member" and this $20 annual upgrade will be required for posting items in the For Sale section. All members and visitors will still be able to view the For Sale section for free, but a Pro Membership upgrade of $20/year will be required for listing items in that section for sale. Current Gold Members will be converted to Pro Members and will have access to listing items for sale until their current upgrade expires.

Thank you for your understanding and I will give further updates as the upgrade date approaches.

If you had $100,000 what would you drive?

Discussion in 'THE OTHER TALK' started by outskirtscustoms, Jan 20, 2012.

  1. So if you had $100,000 what would you drive? What is your dream car?

For myself I would buy a VW Golf GTI VR6 to drive and a Porsche or Mercedes to show off in. I love German cars.

So what would you buy? Corvette? Used Lambo? Classic 'Cuda?

Either a new Ford or Mopar muscle, the new 2012 DeLorean, or one of the many Classics to be had.

I'd want to find one of these, Jeep FC170 crew cab (with optional factory plow would be perfect)

But I suppose a modern version would work too (not available in the US yet but we're just dreaming right?)

DonQui, sorry; this one will never
    leave family ownership.
outskirtscustoms, we painted it candy blue
    in 1972,for about two days.as for "dolling-up",
i'll leave that to the "hot chics" that ride
    in it very often.
    {this is a 1961. 2 owner .}

  16. It is a nice clean looking ride but I just like to be different. Red Corvette is just too predictable.

Does it have to be a car? I'd rather drive a bike, this bike:

  18. I'd ride that too.

when we go to shows.for the most part it is the only 61 vette; even when their are other vettes'.
most are not red.white is the most common color on Corvette.this one was white original.
    and for the record $100,000.00
wouldn't buy a ride like this one.
it would be a down payment.
