...with all of the bike restorations going on out there that someone isn't making an affordable aftermarket skip tooth chain?

I have no idea what it takes to make bike chain, but it seems like it might be a good product to invest in.

there are a few old boys out there with it and lots of it
I seem to find it once in awhile but i like selling it fast lol

excuse my ignorance but what do you call a skip tooth chain?

alot of bikes before world war 2 used a chain with an inch pitch instead of the normal 1/2" stuff of today so when you see the sprockets the teeth are further apart like it skips a tooth

There is an alternating small and large gap.

no body has made it for years I guess
I am sure somebody like crassley on the schwinn forum has some he has tons of stuff.
and some of the old lifetime bike guys have bought it when buying out old bike shops..
