I was up in Wisconsin last weekend and this was listed on facebook marketplace and I was tempted but needed to get back to Missouri.

Yes blade style fork. If you look up on facebook markrt milwaukee and search under red bike it should come up wit a few mor pics. How rare are these bike ? i have owned a 12 speed takara in the 70's .....japanese make right ?

I don't have any idea of value. It's just different, everybody's got an INB..
Seriously though it'd make a cool starting point for a project, lots of potential.

I had a new Takara 10 speed in the 80's. I've never seen a cruiser Takara.
I thought this was just a brand name stenciled on a Worksman. I'd have to go over it closely to see if it's real.

I was going at it all backwards, looking for an industrial bike due to the worksman similarities. It's out there as a Takata 26" BMX, late 70s, pretty rare.
There was one or two on the bmxmuseum, but not much info.
This one gets pretty wild, with a Rixe girder, but then breaks down into typical museum battle over if it's really a BMX... Here's the before pics, looks pretty good stock!
