I landed this today.....Schwinn Phantom

Now, is it original.....or a repop?

On one hand, it's got an ND hub, dog leg crank, proper locking hub, long fenders, but on the other hand the rims don't look plated, and the number is short a digit or 2. I don't know if those parts were reproduced on a repop or not. If not a repop, perhaps a parts built?

Is there another number to the serial number? Too short for a 50's Schwinn Should be B XXXXX.

Possibly a restoration.

Did the repro frames have the same Construction? The electroforged headtube?
