I found this frame and fork on CL. I really like the fork but the seatpost was stuck and I didn't want to cut it out.

I bought this tank from Rob-NVLTYguy?. I striped some of the house paint off and like the bare metal/old paint combo, so I clearcoated.

I spotted a exact bike without the fork at the local coop- Boise Bike Project. I volunteered there 4 nights and donated 4 bikes and lotsa parts so I brought the bike home.


This is the initial mockup after transplanting the parts
Plan of Action Clearcoat frame
Attach tank better
Cut seat post tube to fit kids better
Handle bars may work - find some to fit kids.

Any idea what front that is?It looks liek its off a stingray but it looks old.

It is from the orginal WesternFlyer/Murray bike. I think an extended version of this fork was used on the Murray Firecat.
