Thought today would be as good as any to introduce myself. Bikee's call me Red. I got interested in bikes when I was 6 and the neighbor kid had a Evil Kenieval bike. It pissed me off cuz his was always faster. The seed was then planted. I caught the bike bug about 8 months ago and started off with a Schwinn Heavy Duti. 1967 (same year I was born) middleweight. Owner said it was left under a house for several years. It cleaned up nice. I cut my teeth on this one and re-greased all the bearings. I had it down to the frame. I enjoyed it so much, that I am now currently working on a 51' original Phantom. I will be posting in the How To for some advice. Included below is a pic of both. Glad im in the flock and hope to meet some other peeps soon.
