Hey! I'm Ember and I'm pretty new to building bikes. It started out with "I'm broke and need a way to get around town in college because I can't drive." There is a super awesome bike co-op in my hometown that teaches people to build there own bikes from things that would otherwise end up in a junkyard and found a lovely electra frame. It's certainly nothing special but I am officially hooked. I have further plans for the electra (probably starting with matching tires) and I really want to build a bike with a tank because I love the idea of having a bike that not only did I build but is super distinctive and one of a kind.
