hawthorne fender question

i have 55 hawthorne, when i removed the paint on the fenders and struts the were wald stainless fenders with a perfect finish, are these correct for the bike? doesnt really matter they are going on it either way, just curious

Are the WALD ?? not sure what the right fender would be, My Hawthorne dont have any fenders

Wald parts are more of a aftermarket part I belive

Yes, these days Wald parts are mostly aftermarket, except for Worksman and perhaps a few others. Back in the day however, Wald supplied parts for most bicycle manufacturers around the U.S.
