I had seen that review and bought it anyway planning to live with it as is, or add some PVC pipe to hold the mounts in place and I was pleased to see that it was already done by manufacturer on this current offering.
Mine also seems much more solid than the one in review with very little movement and no noise that I heard while driving.
The only feature it lacks is the fold down of the support arms when not loaded with bikes.
The only other rack I had considered is the Allen Sports at Walmart for $99, it looks like a good one also, but more than 2x the price.
