Nice. You've got more acoustics than I do. I like the way you've displayed them. I may have a go at building something similar...

They're just 12" soft pine, used a 2" hole saw, then cut about 1/2" off of the front of the hole, and clearance slots, rounded and sanded everything, and boom baby! I may have to reinforce the electric rack, it flexes a lot, I'm thinking some 1/2"x1/2" angle aluminum screwed to the underside, just to give it a bit more strength

Even if they end up as the prototype they're still pretty slick.

Hey Gary, how's about winding a couple of three string pickups for me so I can build a stereo guitar that splits the sound EAD GBE. Roughly the same spacing as a neck pickup on a Tele, but that doesn't have to be exact.

First up is the 12 string that my grampa brought back from Korea. Brand is lotus. Then we have my hand made cigar box electric, I did all the work and it's probably my best sounding guitar. It's a little rough around the edges but hey, so am I. The second pic featuring my dog Baker is showing how the neck is mounted. The final guitar is my nomad guitar. It's the last guitar I have left from my high school days, and is by far my favorite. I have stickers from nearly every state I've ever lived in on there, as well as several sentimental story stickers, and underneath all of that is a custom burnt finish, that one day will be discovered once more if one of my kids decides to learn to play.

A few construction photos of the classical I built in 2007. I have been playing over forty years. I had always traded my player for the next level. The last trade was going to be luthier made. I decided to try myself, it's the best guitar I have ever owned. Penetrates well unmiked and has lot's of nice overtones and harmonics.

The table it is built on is called a solera, it sets the neck action and the belly in the lower bout.

Face is Western Red Cedar, Back-Indian Rosewood, Neck-Spanish Cedar, Finger Board- Ebony, Various Ebony inlays

I was assembled using animal hide glue heated to 140 degrees. Dries extremely hard and helps carry the energy from the strings to the entire guitar.

Body shape is a replica of a 1937 Hauser. I took some liberties and changed a few things I thought would help the tone. The box is tuned to a sympathetic frequency that helps produce nice overtones.

Finish is shellac put on with a french polish method. My favorite music/composers are Barrios, Tarrega, Chopin. My main gigs these days are funerals and weddings. Music and guitar has been a life long love for me and has taken me to some really neat experiences.
