Well here she is.... Didn't get everything I wanted done because I screwed up the Nexus twist shifter. Lesson learned.

Here is how she started life
    [IMG]

Picked up a super crusty Higgins and paint matched the trike year to the rust. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
Anyone have a Nexus 3 speed twist shifter for sale?

Would have gotten more scenic pics (like at the brewery and marina) but a storm just rolled in so no riding today.

Looks like it fits the bill! Prob room for some cheese, crackers, and sausage as well! Give me a couple days, I may have a "donor" bike from a friend with a 3 speed in the rear that is coming my way ....

Love it, that basket looks like it will hold almost a dozen of those. 6 gallons of beer is a partaaaay on wheels!!!

It still needs some tuning to improve the ride, but that can wait.

Good job Kim, I was wondering what you were going to do with the Higgins.

Is it true what they say; three wheels are better then two? One day I'm going to have to do a threesome…very cool!

When I first got the trike in the spring last year I used to crash it all the time because it handles so differently than a bike. Strange things to ride but when the Nexus is working correctly it was super fast.

That's the thing about trikes, they all seem to pull to one side and turning has to be done slowly unless you wanna take it up on two wheels.
