So my youngest went on a 2 week trip with his scout troop and we had built him a hiking cart to pull behind during their 31 mile hike and it only made it the first day (10 miles) and he was really bummed out about it because we had built it together. So while he was still gone I decided to get everything for another father son project to cheer him up when he got back.
Rear end I picked up from a buddy

Hooked it up to a ratty All Pro with manta springer we had built years ago. i found a set of 20 inch rims for the back and left it like that for him to see when he got off his trip.

Chains, tires and a seat and it was rideable. He was so excited to ride it he didn't care how it looked.

After being stripped down and greased and painted. He wanted me to paint the chain until we can order an orange one. So its not just a quick spray bomb job while it was all together.

Found another rear end like that one that I am trying to get. but someone welded extra brackets to it so will have to do some cutting and rewelding to the upper bracket
