Friend's Huffman Dayton

My friend recently rebuilt what was once his father's Huffman Dayton. It is all original with the exception of Nirve tires...and yes, even the horn works. 8)

Anyone able to tell what year it is?

Wow! That's a real beauty... "37fleetwood" or "rms37" will be able to tell you the year for sure.

Very nice! I'm working on one like it myself. Mines a '47, same tank, guard and rack.

looks to be around 39-41 if you dont get a response from 37fleetwood or rms37 go to the cabe and search dayton/huffman.....37fleetwood has posted many many catalogs so you could id it by sight and theres also a serial # thread that he started so that will also help in pinning down the year

I could't help but come back and look again. :mrgreen: This really is a beautiful bike. I have always liked these Huffman's- they remind me at some angles quite a bit of a Colson blister tank- another favorite of mine. Very similar lines I guess. Downright awesome bike!
