Electra Tiger Shark 3i advice......

Wow an excellent website! Looking at buying a NOS 2015 Electra Tiger Shark..... just a little concerned that it only has a coaster brake and doesn’t have the roller brake like the newer models. Any thoughts to advise a newbie?

In my opinion, the coaster is just as reliable and it’s one less cable to deal with

I agree with the Doc...roller brake is not any real improvement over coaster.

Thanks Doc and Jason! I just came back from the shop that had the Tiger Shark (43 mile ride each way) and found it to be damaged. The front fender was scraped up and bent. I even asked them before driving there what the condition of the bike was. Live and learn. I contacted Bobby from Electra and the only new Tiger Sharks he could find were in Canada.
Currently my wife has a Raleigh Retroglide Seven with a springer fork, mine is a Diamondback Islander Seven Speed with a hula dancer that goes at her own speed mounted on the front.
