I looked through a ton of photos, the blue bike is most probably an Earth Cruiser. The frame, forks, stem and chain wheel sure look just like the late 80's models.

Serial begins with H9, maybe a 79 or 89 Huffy?

It could be. I got the Huffy number wrong, a Huffy would be 9H, not H9, so it may be an early Earth Cruiser. I'll see if I can find info on Jamis serial numbers, or if the bikes had other characteristics that would ID it. I was hoping the Jamis page had a closeup pic.
I emailed Jamis, who wanted some pics. The form they have has no place for pics, but I replied with a few pics. I'm hoping it's an early model. But the dropouts have no cutouts like I've seen, so it may not be an Earth cruiser.
