Yup, that's them. A rubber bar end plug will help the ends not rip off.
I agree with you. All black would look better but for inexpensive grips with a cool shape they would still look good in many instances.
Off topic side note on grips. WalMart sells a fair number of the made in Taiwan Velo grips on their website.

I've bought some of these using site to store and have been pleased with the price and quality of them. The Gel D2's are really thick and comfy. Although the D2's are not the coolest looking grips out there for sure.
Be careful when ordering any through their website and make sure it's a WalMart item and not a outside vendor like BikeWagon. I'm sure the Bikewagon grips would have to be shipped, that would cost you more. Also WallyWorl fluctuates the price on these grips by quite a bit at times.

My ride. Before plain jane black wheels... Now red rims and white walls. Getting ready to take it apart and get the frame powder coated. Going to be matte black. Still deciding on whether to put the full fenders on or cut them down a bit.
Not sure the maker... It doesn't have the Dyno "D" or Kustom Kruisers "KK" on the tube. Any thoughts?

Dane, Look at the bottom of the frame,right by where the pedals are. Do you see any letters and numbers?
I am/was not the biggest fan of roadsters, then i saw yours! Nicely done.Here's my 1997 Roadster LTD. Added triple tree forks, 26x3 front wheel with GT hub from a Dyno Glide Deluxe & 24x3 rear wheel with nexus 3 speed.
Here is my stash of Dyno's, hanging from the garage ceiling. Kinda a Where's Waldo photo. Next time I get them down I will take some better photos.

Just picked up a couple more for the collection. The Blue Ultra glide is an 01 to go with my red one. Just need to dig into the spare parts bin for some bars and piston neck. The moto glide is a Kustom Kruiser with Dyno tires and some other Dyno parts.The Moto came this way and is in awesome shape. I kinda like the gun metal grey on the KK better then the Purple on the Dyno's. It also has a Bronze colored piston stem, first one I have seen in this color.

I bought the 80mm hoops from Pacific Coast Bicycle in San Diego & spokes from my LBS. Im about $250 into this wheel setup.
