This was a pretty fast build and with mostly stuff I already had. Frame is probably a 40's Schwinn dx, wheels are single speed coaster, tires are 700x40 c electra, cranks came off a '37 schwinn, and paint is amber shellac over existing patina. Original idea was to build a klunker but decided to go a different direction. You can check out the build thread here.

I like how the seat turned out too. I went to a thrift store and bought a $3 sport coat to cover it.

Nice and simple. That bike makes you do a double take with the large wheels, bmx fork and truss rods.

as I said in your other post, that is a slick bike. I like it a lot.

one more nice detail would be to drill and chamfer increasing diameter holes in the brake arm, mostly eliminating the Shimano text.
