Disk brake on coaster arm bracket?

Do you know how a coaster brake works?
 
Yes, I do.
I guess I wasn't very clear. I am curious if I could bolt the caliper to the bracket on the frame where usually the coaster brake arm is attached. After a close inspection however.

My question is can I use that bracket and eliminate the need for an adapter? Now that I look at it again I think it could only work with a really huge disk - 200 or 220mm if there is such a thing.
This is all purely hypothetical, I don't have a rear wheel with a disk brake, but since I plan on switching from 3 speed to 7 speed in the unforeseeble future I would like to hear what You guys have to say.
