    That's right! :113:

I sold that blue Walmart cruiser (also an Electra copy) to invest and work on a classic Dyno.

That's a really cool looking bike.

I've never actually owned a new bike. So don't know for sure where any of them originated.

Might've had a heavily modified department store bike as a kid.
Started as 20" BMX style triangle frame something.
Maybe a Murray, maybe a Huffy. I don't know. Think it might've been yellow.
Mods: Rattle can black. Black tuff wheels. Ashtabula stem, 24" Ashtabula forks, and a little too long 9" Ashtabula crank. Black diamond pattern BMX seat. Black BMX bars. Red Oakley grips and red fluted seatpost.

Closest thing to a known department store bike as an adult was this Schwinn cruiser with a 2-stroke that I picked up at a garage sale a few months ago for forty bucks. Needs a magneto and a coil, which I guess I should order. This bike is as good as gone.
But I just bought it for the engine. So it stays. 20190601_135957.jpg
Course my build-off Schwinn bike may very well have come from a department store. Don't know.
There will be zero stock parts on it when it's done. And that's ok. Because I like it.

Cool pic. Reminds me a little of Lake Whitney Motocross track on the Brazos.
