the beginning of the build . It started as a Huffy womens saratoga 3 speed

tank template....this will become the hardest and most expensive project of the build.

motor mockup

hub sprocket from pirate cycles

Start of tank

tank was spot welded all seams filled with fiberglass cloth and two coats of fiberglass

one problem I had was the rear the forks were two close for tire clearance so I widened with a piece of wood and hand bent
them back

replacement brace for fender and rear fork support

seat support and fender mounts

sprocket for pedal chain tension but I hated everything about it
maybe next time

primer then wet sanded with 1000 grit paper

second of many coats of paint

few things to do like hook up light, change tank mounting bolts and perhaps add front disk brake and some pinstriping
Thanks for looking

I also like the fact that you rescued an old step thru bike frame to make your boardie.

thats a good idea I was thinking red or black but I think black would be better and the ladies bike are great cause they are cheap and you can do any bend you want. thanks for the suggestions
