Do I really need to start yet another motorbike project(?).
Well, if I did not start, how would I ever finish(!).

Nice 1930's Colson frame & fork with some dings and dents.
I like that it is a 26" version of the double bar drop frame style.
Looked once stripped of original paint and maybe about twice re-done before.
Had the frame & fork sand blasted at Safeway Culver City; commenced spray painting.
1. Rust-Oleum rusty-metal primer;
2. Rust-Oleum V21 red primer;
3. Rust-Oleum stops-rust burgundy.

No sanding between 1st 3 coats, we will see how well shortcuts work.
Plan to let cure a for while before sanding and applying final coat(s).

Working on the other piece parts too.

I decided to go with painted wheels; and found a new purpose for a Huffy frame made in China, (with 2 broken seat stays), as a painting and drying stand.

Rust-Oleum stops-rust burgundy finish over V2169 red primer.

Hard to see darker reds on an overcast afternoon.

Monthly update, sanded and added an economy build-up primer coat and 2nd burgundy finish coat, (3-months later). Looks almost the same as after the 1st coat; yet I plan a 3rd (summer?).

Did not skip April; painted a pair of Colson sprockets on a thread for my 36 build; started on a fender (in a background); and updated progress on wheels/tires in post #2..
