A friend gave me this BRIONI touring bike a few years ago. It had the wheels removed and was left outside for years.
They're supposed to be made in Yugoslavia. That's about all I could find out. Frame is super light, lugged construction. I wanted to build a path bike but I never did anything with it because it had that wonky Thompson bb.
I figured out a way to stick some bmx 3 pc cranks in it and decided it was time to do something with it. So here's the list
Electra alloy wheels with nexus 3 with some cheap innova stud tires.
Sturmey archer thumb shifter.
Sunday saker 3 pc cranks with a sprocket from a 63 typhoon
The triple traps were the only 9/16 pedals I had.
Seat, post, handlebars, stem and akisu fork came off a hunter beach cruiser. I had to extend the steer tube.
Origin8 headset.
Cheesy rubber grips came off the same Electra as the wheels.
I love the way it turned out. when I was a kid my dad used to ride these beach cruiser mountain bike looking things that always seemed to big for him and this just reminds me of them.
