Catfish Cruiser. Those tanks always remind me of a catfish. Add some fins.
    Cool bike!

Cool, I started putting together something similar from a bare frame a couple years ago. This was as far as it got, aside from a gray/silver banana seat I got for it: [IMG] The og tank won't fit with the lowrider springer though. ~Adam

Re: Changed my mind. "Black Coffee"

i had just done a flightliner for the space build. i had second thoughts.
i need a good classic ballooner to ride with my girl on her WF.

i am going to add a laid back seatpost (anyone have one?)
    a recovered seat.

i have never gotten a positive ID on the frame. anyone know what it is?
i was told most recently that its a columbia westfield.

sorry for the change of plans.....i think this may be better.

I like the new frame. If you're going to paint it, it would be nice if you could replicate the old paint design. Nice donor bike too!

Ive used the threaded bearing race from another bike, with the threads ground out. It still sits in the bearings, but isnt "attached" to the steer tube. Then re-use all the orig. parts. It works!

how does that spring compress on that front end? is there a long bolt that goes thru and the bolt moves up and down or what? have never looked at one to see how they work. nice mock up.
